The Expanded Image

This course explores the post-medium context of photography through an introduction to various hybrid forms employed in the visual arts. Creative production is emphasized through hands-on assignments that combine various media: still/moving images, analogue/digital content, with audio, interactivity, and physical installation. Lectures and workshops focus on creative technologies and allow students to acquire production skills necessary for creating online content, interactive media, site-specific installations, and gallery exhibitions.
