Film Production V: Directing for Camera
This course focuses on the craft of directing for the camera, emphasizing how shot composition, blocking, and movement shape narrative and emotion. Through scene work, visual exercises, and production planning, students learn to frame with intent, move actors purposefully, and shoot efficiently without compromising vision. Emphasis is placed on visual storytelling, creative leadership, and making bold, economical choices under real-world constraints — equipping directors to communicate clearly and execute their vision on set.
