MPF 420

Capstone Project I

This course is part one of a full-year capstone experience. Students apply the filmmaking theories, concepts, techniques, and methodologies learned in previous years to developing and producing a major creative project. Working in approved groups, students pitch original concepts, write scripts, and complete pre-production and principal photography. Faculty approval is required for all projects. Instructors and advisors serve as mentors, supporting creative decisions and production logistics. Students not leading a project may opt to complete an industry work placement.
