Francophone Women Writers
This course examines works by Francophone women writers from Africa, the Caribbean, North America, Europe, and beyond. Through literature, film, and other cultural forms, we will explore how these authors address themes such as identity, gender, memory, migration, and voice. Special attention will be given to how women’s writing engages with questions of language, power, and belonging in various postcolonial and diasporic context.
