Equity Issues in Ontario ECE
Interrogating sources of injustice and inequity in educational and care contexts and exploring counter-narratives is crucial for engaging in strength-based, anti-oppressive, and decolonizing practices to move toward equity. This course pays special attention to disrupting stereotypes and deficit thinking, challenging norms and assumptions, and fostering inclusive spaces with young children in the context of Ontario.
