Electromagnetism: Theory and Effects

Coulomb's law and electric field intensity, Gauss's law and electric flux density, electric potential, conductors, resistance, dielectrics, electric boundary conditions, capacitance, electric energy. Magnetic forces, Biot-Savart's law and magnetic field intensity, Ampere's circuital law and magnetic flux density, magnetic potential, magnetic boundary conditions, self and mutual inductance, magnetic energy. Maxwell's equations for time-varying fields, Faraday's law, displacement current, transmission lines, electromagnetic effects on circuits, grounding, shielding and electrical termination.
