Child Sexual Abuse Reduction Research Network - Call for Proposals
The Child Sexual Abuse Reduction Research Network (CSARRN) seeks to combat online child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA) through interdisciplinary workshops that bring together scholars, practitioners, government agencies, and private and not-for-profit organizations from around the world. More specifically, this network brings together key researchers and thought leaders to share their work, foster new collaborations, and develop unified solutions to better address the most pressing issues in online CSEA. We welcome submissions across a broad range of areas, including identifying factors associated with offending, developing forensic tools to improve investigatory practices, promoting interventions focused on reducing victimization, and exploring new ways to support victims, among other relevant topics.
This event will be hosted by the Centre for Combating Child Sex Trafficking and Online Child Sexual Exploitation at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) on December 9-10, 2026.
International attendees can easily reach the city via Toronto Pearson International Airport. The main campus of TMU is in the heart of downtown Toronto and is easily accessible by subway on Line 1. Exit at the TMU subway station. The conference will take place at the Ted Rogers School of Management - TRS Commons (7th Floor), located at 55 Dundas Street West.
The registration fee (including all event catering), social events, and 2 nights’ accommodation in Toronto will be covered by the organizing committee for the lead presenter of all accepted and delivered papers. Co-authors are welcome to attend as registered delegates. Papers can be submitted to a conference proceedings special issue in a leading international academic journal.
