Patho-therapeutics 2
The integration and application of core concepts of epidemiology, microbiology and pathology are explored related to acute and complex illnesses and palliative care. Examples may include immune responses and deficiencies, multiple traumas, burns, organ transplants, acute cardiac, respiratory and neurologic episodes, and genetic disorders. Appraisal of current literature and research findings that inform evidence-based practice will be critiqued.
