Theoretical Foundations of Nursing II
Students will explore theories, models and their conceptual foundations within the metaparadigm of nursing that are associated with individual and caregiver responses to acute and complex illnesses. Examples may include quality of life, uncertainty, coping, transition, isolation, fear, loss, intimacy, death and dying, end of life, grief and hope. Students will critically appraise the literature related to these theories, models and concepts to determine therapeutic interventions.
