This four-twelve week clinical placement course provides students with the opportunity to participate in an elective placement in a midwifery practice and/or in clinical skills simulation. Remediating or returning midwifery students have the opportunity to address learning needs identified in a learning contract developed with the faculty. This course is also available to Special Students by permission of the program. Students will be under the supervision of a midwife clinician, midwifery faculty or designate. This course is offered based on availability of preceptors and faculty. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis. See teaching department for consent criteria.
