Sport Media Literacy
This course establishes a foundation in key concepts and critical approaches to sport media literacy. Students will explore the role of both conventional and digital media in shaping audience perceptions of athletes, sporting events and sport organizations. Emphasis is placed on understanding how media influences the representation of sports and its impact on audiences. The course also introduces practical tools for becoming more discerning and engaged consumers of sports media.
