Film Production I
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of visual storytelling using the unique attributes of 16mm. The course explores the relationship between form and content by focusing on how meaning is created through the language and grammar of shot design, composition, camera placement, movement and analog editing. Different aesthetic approaches are explored throughout the development, production and post-production of silent 16mm short films.
