Advanced Picture Editing

This course will focus on structuring a compelling narrative for time-based work across all genres and the creative application of editing software to realize a film. Special emphasis will be placed on collaborative and technical workflows that maximize creativity in the editing process and the role of editing and the picture editor across the life-cycle of a film’s creation, from pre-production through principal photography, post-production and distribution.
