Flexo for Creative Packaging
Flexography is the most widely used printing process for packaging. In this advanced hands-on course, students design creative packaging and branding projects for flexo. Participants apply premedia skills using modern flexo workflows, proofing and computer-to-plate devices. Students print their packaging designs which can form part of a personal portfolio. FIRST industry specifications are studied for narrow- and wide-web and corrugated applications. In-line finishing and converting are explored on press and using simulation. Accessibility, quality, sustainability and efficiency are themes throughout.
