Disability Studies Research in Action
Building on DST 880, this course covers a wide range of research methodologies and data-gathering/analysis techniques applicable to research in the field of disability studies. Students will develop some initial skills in framing and conducting a small study including the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data. Of central concern is the question of how we can use research to understand and change the oppression experienced by disabled people.
