Research and Evaluation III
This course builds on CYC 604 and further develops students’ abilities to apply specific techniques and approaches associated with quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation methods of the applied social sciences. Methodological assumptions, concepts and procedures will be further explored. Students will review and critique existing literature and construct their own research and program evaluations. Specific course topics include reliability and validity, data analysis methods, ethical issues and the use of computers in social research.
