Biopharmaceutical Processes and Design

This course covers the design, process flow, and major unit operations utilized in current biopharmaceutical manufacturing. The first aspect of this course will consider the scientific, engineering, and technical principles that go into each step of a manufactured biologic from initial cell line development to finalized drug product presentation. The second aspect of this course will integrate industry-wide standards, project and risk management tools, and business-driven decision-making practices that allow for the development, licensure, and manufacturing of biologics today.
