Crude oil characteristics and pre-treatment. Petroleum refining processes, including atmospheric and vacuum distillation. Conversion and treatment using catalytic cracking, hydrocracking, reforming, and hydrotreating. Product blending. Characteristics of feedstock and products. Refinery operations, economics, environmental impacts, and safety management.
