Introduction to Digital Technologies

Our lives are influenced by digital technologies in complex ways. But do we understand how they operate and what impacts they have on our lives, work, and culture? How can we use technologies effectively, ethically, and responsibly? Can they assist inquiry in the humanities and social sciences? What are their limitations? In this course, students are introduced to digital resources, tools, and methods and consider the many ways such tools can enhance knowledge making.
