These placements offer immediate project support, and serve as a smart, cost-effective pathway to long-term hiring.
How it works:
Step 1: Students are matched with your team based on your needs and the expertise you’re looking for.
Step 2: Students work by your side while being trained through our centre. They gain hands-on experience and immerse themselves in your workflows.
Step 3: An AERIAS supervisor will actively check in with you and the participating students to ensure the project is moving ahead effectively and efficiently. It’s important to us that our students are helping to achieve your team’s goals.
Step 4: For students you’d like to keep working with after graduation, you can submit a job offer before they hit the open market. As the student is already trained by your organization, hiring talent through the program can help speed up your internal operations and reduce onboarding costs.

Wintta Ghebreiyesus
Aerospace Engineering (PhD) ’25
- Wintta contributed to the cabin interior technology group at AERIAS
- During her graduate studies, she collaborated with Bombardier teams to develop smart cabin technologies and systems
- Since graduation, Wintta founded Moon Trades Technologies, using artificial intelligence for critical mineral exploration
Kritika Vashishtha
Aerospace Engineering (PhD) ’24
- Kritika led research on a personalized circadian rhythm light management system for aircraft cabin applications
- Her work helped to advance passenger comfort and identify new solutions to mitigate jet lag
- Since graduation, Kritika now works as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Harvard University and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University
