TMU Bold claims homecoming win

Sold out crowd at the MAC cheers Bold to 3-1 victory

High energy and electrifying cheers filled the Mattamy Athletic Centre (MAC) as the Bold added another memorable win to TMU’s homecoming tradition.

TMU Bold men’s hockey team (external link)  defeated the University of Toronto’s Varsity Blues 3-1 on September 18, marking their third straight homecoming victory.

Fifteen minutes into the game, TMU forward Will Portokalis (external link)  fired a shot past the blocker of Toronto goalie Nick Surzycia, sending the home crowd into a frenzy.
