On November 19 and November 25, the womens and mens Rams hockey teams will be collecting toys to be donated to the CTV Toy Mountain campaign.

The Mattamy Athletic Centre can now welcome crowds back at 50 per cent capacity and the Rams hockey teams are ready.

At the women’s hockey game on November 19 and the men's hockey game on November 25 - both versus U of T - the teams will be accepting toy donations. The holiday toy drive is in support of the Salvation Army and the CTV Toy Mountain Campaign.

All students, staff, faculty and fans are encouraged to bring teddy bears or other stuffed toys to the games and toss them onto the ice when the Rams score their first goal. All teddy bears will be donated to The Salvation Army and Family Service Centers and given to families this holiday season.

On game days, LOSH Bears (external link)  will be sold at the gate for a discounted rate of $10. Sarah Norris, CEO and chief curator of Teddy Bear Empire Inc., will be selling all bears at cost in order to make her soft and cuddly bears more affordable for students and fans. Sarah's LOSH HUG-ME’Z are a collection of six colourful and caring bears designed to make their way into the world through the lives of children.  (external link) LOSH Bears is a proud Indigenous-Canadian company.

Fans at both games will have the chance to win one of two pairs of Toronto Maple Leafs tickets.
