Happy, smiling, furry faces

RU Therapy Dogs provide the calming, super cute lunch break you need every Wednesday
October 18, 2019

Does the rainy weather have you feeling gloomy? Stressed about midterms? If you answered to either or both, you might benefit from visiting the RU Therapy Dogs on Wednesdays at noon in the Student Learning Centre.

Spending time with a dog can do wonders to destress and relieve anxiety and it’s one of the campus services recommended by Student Health and Wellness for self-care.

RU Therapy Dogs took time off during Reading Week but they’re back in full cuddly force this week at the SLC Sandbox, located on the third floor. The program runs until April in partnership with the St. John's Ambulance Therapy Dog Program.

If for some reason you need more convincing to visit these cute little critters, check out these sweet faces at the most recent therapy dogs session. Follow them on Facebook (external link) , Twitter (external link)  or Instagram (external link) .
