Carnival Connect+

We are excited to celebrate with all students and the wider TMU community as we bring carnival, music, and epic vibes to the Student Learning Centre on Wednesday March 19, from 11 AM – 4 PM for our culture day experience and student appreciation event.

Join Toronto Metropolitan University and Always Carnival for a unique culture day experience as we take over the Student Learning Centre and bring the Caribbean Carnival to the heart of our school.

Join us at 11:00 AM in the SLC Amphitheatre for the Official Kick-off featuring Steelpan, Stilt Walkers and Costume Dancers

Then, enjoy a day filled with Cultural Workshops, such as:
Make your own Carnival Costume
Learn to Play Steelpan
Soca Dance Fitness
Learn to Play Barbados Road Tennis
Soca Party with Dr. Jay, the Soca Prince!
Free food and giveaways at our Exhibition and Fair!
