Each year, we kick off with a FREE Social Justice event to establish the theme and set the tone for advancing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in Canada, the United States, and globally.
The two-day virtual event will bring together thought leaders, social justice advocates, and changemakers from around the world to engage in meaningful dialogue on advancing inclusive diversity and workplace equity. It is designed to equip leaders and organizations with the tools to drive real change.
Our journey began just a few months after the murder of George Floyd on May 25, 2020—a tragedy that sparked a global awakening.
In response, we gathered thousands of social justice enthusiasts, advocates, and thought leaders from around the world to deliberate on how to dismantle oppressive systems, protect marginalized and minoritized communities, and foster equitable justice for all.
Over the past four years, our Canadian Congress on Inclusive Diversity & Workplace Equity has become a powerful platform, attended by over 10,000 people since its inception, where we have shared insights, strategies, and stories of progress in the pursuit of social justice, diversity, and workplace equity.
In 2025, we find ourselves at a critical juncture.
The world is witnessing a rising tide of resistance against the very progress we’ve worked so hard to achieve.
As EDI efforts face growing opposition, it is more important than ever that we unite, educate, and elevate the bar for social justice.
This year’s Congress will leverage the legacy of George Floyd to reaffirm our shared commitment to creating a more just, equitable, and inclusive world. We will engage in robust discussions, tackle difficult conversations, and offer actionable strategies to push forward the global movement for social justice, diversity, and workplace equity.
