Rodina received her bachelor's degree from AASTMT Egypt in Electronics and Communication Engineering in which she developed a context-aware guidance system for visually impaired people. After her graduation in 2016, she worked there as a teaching assistant in ECE department. Recently, Rodina joined the Ryerson Multimedia laboratory (RML) in Fall 2019 as a master's student and research assistant where her research focus is on early prediction of lung diseases of newborns.
