NSERC Engage With Shaftesbury

Dr. Naimul Khan was awarded a $25,000 NSERC Engage grant to develop a multimodal stress assessment algorithm for Shaftesbury VR (external link) . The developed algorithm will be incorporated into Shaftesbury's Positive Distraction Entertainment System, which can be used to dynamically adapt VR game content to reduce stress/anxiety in children to prepare them for medical procedures.
