Richard Wen won Dr. C. Ravi and Shanti Ravindran Award for Outstanding Doctoral Thesis in 2023 for his PhD thesis entitled "Generative Design of Geospatial Interventions with Automated Machine Learning and Bayesian Optimization". This Award recognizes the excellence of the winning doctoral dissertation from the points of originality, contribution to better understanding of the theory, philosophy, science, practice or their interrelationship, application of theory and impact on society, industry or some aspect of national value.
