Update, April 20, 2020: Thank you for your interest in the FCS COVID-19 Rapid Response Research Fund. This fund is currently unavailable, however, we look forward to announcing the FCS recipients shortly. The FCS community will be notified via email and at ryerson.ca/fcs as new funding opportunities become available.
The COVID-19 pandemic is dramatically affecting countless aspects of our daily lives in Canada and around the world. Rapidly changing responses and impacts are occurring in areas that span the Faculty of Community Services’ nine schools. In response, we are launching the FCS COVID-19 Rapid Response Research Fund for small-scale research projects led by individual or teams of researchers to study important issues directly related to COVID-19 and its impacts. This can include the effects of the pandemic (including but not limited to unintended consequences of social distancing and other COVID-19 related policies at institutional, municipal, provincial, or federal levels) as well as responses to the pandemic (including but not limited to innovations in technology, methodologies, and practices/processes). The primary aim of this grant is to rapidly seed research that can lead to meaningful impact.
