In collaboration with researchers and people with lived experience of substance use, The Jean Tweed Centre and investigators from TMU will discuss their collaborative research team committed to the learning and evaluation of a newly funded integrated program for women experiencing substance use challenges.
In this presentation, team members will:
- Share insights on the context and need for woman-centred models of integrated substance use care exemplified in the Broadview program.
- Dialogue about the process of building a collaborative research team to drive an evaluation research approach.
- Discuss how community-based research can be conducted differently to promote shared power and community partnership.
