Clinical Skills I

.This course provides an introduction to midwifery clinical skills and competencies in preparation for the first midwifery clinical placement. Students will acquire knowledge required for routine midwifery care at a level appropriate for a student in their first clinical placement. The course will provide an introduction to clinical skills utilized in prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care.
