Equity in the Future of Health Care
Who delivers health care and who can access and receive care are important components of equity and justice in the Canadian health care system. This course will explore diverse health care arenas including medicine, nursing, midwifery, social work, nutrition and others to identify critical issues and explore arenas for generating greater equity in health care. Students will learn about barriers to health care as well as equity initiatives within diverse health care fields and settings.
