40 OAK STREET PARKETTE
This garden is located on the south side of the CRC building which hosts the Regent Park Community Food Centre. The garden has three sections, one of which produces food in raised beds for the community.

GREENHOUSE AND DEMONSTRATION GARDEN
The main new park in the neighborhood, referred to simply as the Big Park, incorporates a food-focus area. This proposal was developed by RAW Design and comprises a greenhouse, raised beds, a bake oven and a canopy where events and a weekly market take place. The community participated in consultations.

1 OAK STREET
This project is part of a nine-storey building competed in 2010 by Kearns Mancini Architects. The rooftop garden consists of raised beds cultivated with vegetables by residents.

REGENT PARK’S ALLOTMENTS GARDENS, PRE-REVITALIZATION
These gardens predate the Regent Park redevelopment and have contributed to the food security and community engagement of its diverse residents. Redevelopment has replaced some of the earlier allotment gardens.

CAJA SUB-IRRIGATED PLANTERS MADE OF RECYCLED PLASTIC
These planters serve as a partial replacement for the loss of fertile and cultivated land in the neighborhood. They are inserted in containers built by community members involved in a carpentry workshop training program.
