The Ottoman/ Ottoboy unit displays a cross-disciplinary design approach that seeks to expand the boundaries of normative furniture design and production practices through a background investigation in visual art and architecture. Ottoman/ Ottoboy mobile storage/seating units (licensed to Nienkamper/ICF) provide compact, multifunctional alternatives targeted for home-office, e-commerce users.

The Ottoboy, a low rolling storage unit with a flip up seat, accommodates personal effects or hanging files. Small enough to tuck under a desk, this unit can easily be rolled out for guest seating.

The Ottoman is a larger bench/ coffee table unit with newspaper and magazine storage capability. The flip up surfaces will be offered in formed plywood as well as fabric or leather upholstery. The clean form and fluid profile of these pieces are achieved through exposed laminations of maple or cherry veneers.
