    • MODERATOR-LED COURSES are facilitated by members of LIFE. In some courses, the Moderator will prepare and direct the content of the sessions. In others, participants not only choose the direction and content of the course, but research and give presentations to the class on topics chosen.
    • LECTURE COURSES are usually a series of lectures following a specific theme or topic; these are given by a professor or expert in the field.The course is delivered by the lecturer, followed by questions and answers. Reading lists are frequently offered. Discussion is a feature of both moderator-led and lecture courses
    • OFF-CAMPUS COURSES are run in partnership with various institutions in the city and are offered on their premises.
    • COMPUTER COURSES and WORKSHOPS are small, hands-on classes given in our computer education lab (CEL)in the Victoria Building (formerly the Business Bldg), 285 Victoria Street, Room VIC 607A. Courses are based on Windows programs. Early registration is a must. Space in any computer course or workshop must be confirmed with the LIFE office.
    • You must be a member of LIFE Institute to enroll in courses and activities (except for the online courses). Course registrations will be accepted by mail or in person. Membership fees for the membership year are $75 per person, or $140 for two people at the same address. You may submit a membership application with appropriate payment at the same time as you register for courses.
