Clubs of the LIFE Institute span a wide assortment of subject/interest areas -- as diverse as the active seniors involved in the clubs.
Clubs also encourage the development of leadership skills because they are self-managed.

Do you have an activity around which to organize a club? Here's what you might do:

  • Get the support of like-minded enthusiasts within the Institute prior to setting up a steering committee
  • Get committee agreement on goals (self-education? stewardship of others? community action?)
  • Decide on frequency of meetings, fee structure (if any)
  • Take the proposals to the LIFE Board (via the curriculum chair)
