The Image Analysis in Medicine Lab (IAMLAB) is led by Dr. April Khademi, Canada Research Chair in AI for Medical Imaging. IAMLAB specializes in the design, development & translation of AI tools for radiology and pathology images. These innovative software tools are being used to discover disease subgroups and describe pathology more accurately.
A large focus is knowledge translation through algorithm commercialization, and uptake of advanced software tools into clinical practices to improve turn-around-times, inter-rater agreement, accuracy; which improve quality of care.
We partner with clinicians and biomedical companies from the GTA.
