The International Research Institute (IRI) is located in the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University. Established in 2006, The IRI has two major goals: (1) to become a centre of excellence in developing
and facilitating collaborative research projects relating to
international business and development; and (2) to promote and
disseminate the results of this collaborative research in peer reviewed
publications and through conferences and workshops.
We plan to attract leading experts to participate in our Speaker Series
and in our Annual Conference on International Business &
Development. We will keep our researchers and our community in close
contact with leading academic and business organizations relevant to
international business and research.

We will encourage visiting
scholars from other countries to participate in our program, as well as
promoting and encouraging our own faculty to engage in collaborative
research with scholars from foreign business schools.
IRI activities will include reaching out into
the business community within and beyond the Greater Toronto Area, as
well as providing opportunities for our students, both graduate and
undergraduate, to participate in planned initiatives. It is
expected that the activities of the IRI will enhance the
internationalization goals of Ryerson University as a whole.
