Inter-Layering of Meaning
This art piece, a crossover between architectural and art installation, is based on the inter-layering of meaning in an urban context. The reference to architectural model making is intended as a tool to investigate the physical and perceptual reality of public space.

Unrelated objects and images are given a new meaning through a layering process that gives structure to the installation.

The installation consists of four parts:

1. Positioning indicates a philosophical approach as well as a geographical placement.

2. Structure denotes architectural and urban structures.

3. Image/ Space questions the meaning and the perception of public space.

4. Crowd includes the observers in the gallery as well as hypothetical viewers.
