Lab2Market Discover’s online exploratory program helps you explore entrepreneurship and the potential of transforming your academic research into a world-changing tech-focused business.

Through this 10-week program, you'll learn about the opportunities and challenges of entrepreneurship along with networking with other innovators and leaders in Canada's innovation ecosystem.

• FREE, 10-week virtual program
• 1-1.5 hour live virtual class + 2 hours of self-guided work per week
• The L2M Discover program runs for 10 weeks, commencing on February 12, 2025, with full training sessions scheduled from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM EST on Wednesdays. These dates and times also apply to the Health-specific programming stream. 

• Identifying a problem worth solving 
• Business Model Canvas: developing a viable business 
• Understanding your customer
• Finding your unique value 
• Validating your assumptions and building your roadmap
• Legal & IP Considerations 
• Telling a compelling story 
• Pitching: developing the confidence to effectively communicate your ideas 

• Open to full-time students, recent graduates, researchers and faculty members at Canadian universities and colleges who are interested in exploring entrepreneurship.
