Replace Your Card

Important notice: Consistent with the winter semester, as of January 31, all exterior campus building doors will be locked and will require a OneCard to gain access to the interiors of campus buildings. Employees planning to come to campus during the spring or summer semesters who do not have a OneCard should apply for and pick-up their OneCard to avoid disruptions to their ability to access campus buildings.

Instructions for applying for and picking up your OneCard are available on the Get Your Card (Faculty & Staff) page on the OneCard website.

Your Ryerson OneCard is your single most important piece of identification while at the university. If your card is lost, stolen or damaged, you will be responsible for the cost to replace the card. This includes if you damage the card by punching a hole in it, wash it or knowingly scratch it.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for a replacement OneCard, faculty and staff must have an active contract.

How to replace your card

If you lose your OneCard, it is critical that you report it lost or stolen as soon as possible. You are responsible for any unauthorized transactions resulting from the theft or loss of your card.

Act fast to protect the funds on your card

You are responsible for any unauthorized transactions resulting from the theft or loss of your card. If you are able to deactivate your card quickly enough before someone else uses it, you won’t lose the money on it.

As such, it’s important for you to report your OneCard missing as soon as you notice it is gone. Once it's deactivated, the funds on your card are protected and can be transferred to a new card.

Notification occurs once you have reported your lost/stolen card to the OneCard office, at which point it will be deactivated.

Inform them that you are here to pick-up your employee OneCard and you will be buzzed in. Please be advised that employees are required to wear a mask when entering campus buildings.

When you arrive at the OneCard Office, please join the queue outside the door and maintain physical distancing between yourself and other community members where possible. While no longer required, you are strongly encouraged to wear a mask or face covering while indoors to limit the transmission of COVID-19.

Once you are allowed to enter the OneCard Office, please approach the desk and provide OneCard staff with your full name, employee number and reason for picking up your OneCard. A OneCard staff member will then provide you with your OneCard. You will be required to exit the office immediately upon receiving your OneCard.
