Overview

Dr. Neil Rothenberg is an Instructor of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour. He holds an M.B.A. (Schulich) and a D.B.A. (Cranfield). His current research interest involves the impact of mindfulness on organizational behaviours, particularly as it relates to skill development. Neil has taught a wide range of Organizational Behavior courses at Ted Rogers School of Management in both the undergraduate and graduate programs, including Organizational Behaviour and Interpersonal Skills, Organizational Behaviour II, Negotiations and Conflict Management, Organizational Theory and Design, Interpersonal and Team Dynamics and Cross-Cultural Dimensions of Organizational Behaviour.  

Prior to his academic career he held senior management positions within the municipal public sector involving administration, human resources, and organizational change. He also worked as consultant specializing in organizational change and design for several municipal organizations in Ontario and Manitoba. Over the course of his academic career Neil has initiated several departmental service programs including a case study competition, alumni events, and a student mentoring program. He is a founding member of RUMindful, an interest group involved in promoting mindfulness training and research within the Ryerson community.
