The SVZ is excited to share that VESTA Social Innovation Technologies received $1M in funding from Women and Gender Equality Canada. VESTA is co-zoned at the Social Ventures Zone and the Legal Innovation Zone (external link) and Founder Lucrezia Spanogolo has been actively engaged in the community to address the challenges of reporting and investigating of sexualized violence, through her startup.
The funding will be used to develop and evaluate Vesta Community; a trauma-informed, survivor-focused information and reporting platform for survivors of gender-based violence. We are very proud of Lucrezia and are excited to see VESTA's development in the future!
