The CSO leads the development and implementation of the university’s integrated strategic planning framework that links together actions, strategies and priorities across all units at Toronto Metropolitan University.

The University Planning Office (UPO)

The Office of the Chief Strategy Officer is supported by the UPO. 

The UPO manages the development and implementation of activities related to the university's academic plan, enrolment planning, and academic budget planning. The office also undertakes policy research, survey research, data analysis, performance measurement, and institutional research project oversight.

School of Medicine - Planning and Operating Support 

Toronto Metropolitan University is embarking on a new chapter that will help shape the future of health care in Ontario.

In March 2022, TMU’s proposal for a school of medicine in Brampton was accepted by the province which aims to accept students in the fall of 2025.
