Indigenous Students

The Sociology Department is home to Anishinaabe and Ininiw faculty members, and is welcoming to Indigenous students. Indigenous issues and themes are integrated throughout the curriculum.

Gdoo-maawnjidimi Mompii Indigenous Student Services provides a culturally supportive environment to promote academic excellence and serves as a place to balance academic learning with traditional teachings and culture.

Applications to the TMU Sociology program must be submitted to the Undergraduate Admissions Office.
