Dr. Moradi has established a strong and diverse research group at Toronto Metropolitan University working on the analysis, design, and performance-based assessment of structures with a focus on innovative damage avoidance systems for seismic resilience. The group develops innovative solutions using new structural systems and materials for protecting buildings and bridges from damage under natural hazards and extreme loading. Our research leads to enhancing the resilience and sustainability of urban areas.
