The Allan Slaight Radio Institute is the preeminent destination for students passionate about radio and looking to position themselves to take their roles as the next generation of broadcast leaders. The Institute provides TorontoMet students with access to new studios equipped with state-of-the-art technology and software. At the Institute we offer mentorship, targeted financial support, and an expanded radio-and-sound curriculum encouraging students to push boundaries, innovate, and disrupt in all areas of radio—from production and content to management and distribution. Each year we engage the broadcast community in a variety of stimulating presentations, knowledge translation activities and professional development initiatives aimed at enhancing the Canadian Radio industry.
