Our Priorities

As we are at a new place in our university’s history, the general consensus of the many voices we heard in building the 2020-25 Academic Plan is that there is a strong desire to see the university stay the course while taking a more international lens.

Adopting a broader, ever-more global view lends itself to big-picture thinking, ideas and, subsequently, action. The university’s  (PDF file) International Strategy provides a road map for increased global engagement.

Over more than seven decades, members of our community have made important contributions to society and the world around them. Going forward, the following priorities will continue this trend and will further position the university as a trailblazer as we enter the next decade.
