Jill Connell

Jill is a playwright, producer, and director based in Tkaronto. Her plays include The Supine CobblerHROSES: An Affront to ReasonThe Tall Building, and Arctic Ocean. In 2013, she founded the independent theatre company It Could Still Happen: a collective of transdisciplinary artists who perform in industrial spaces. We are currently creating a new live performance called Sunrise with the Half-Mortal, or, a new play I can’t write called JASON: a large-ensemble piece about mapping our interconnection. Jill is a graduate of the playwriting program at the National Theatre School of Canada and an emergency care worker with the Canadian Red Cross.
