  • When the report has completed the request process and the
  • Phase = Completed
  • and the
  • Status: Normal
  • , we are now able to review the report.
  • Click the 
  • View Output
  •  button to review the report (

  • ).
  • Click the 
  • Save As...
  •  menu option.
  • Select the location that you would like to save the report to.
  • For this example select the 
  • Desktop
  •  button.
  • Click the 
  • Save
  •  button to save the report as a text file.
  • click the windows
  • Start menu
  •  button.
  • Click the 
  • Office Button
  •  button to open the text file that was saved to the Desktop earlier.
  • Click
  • Open
  •  from the menu.
  • Click the 
  • Files of type
  • drop down list.
  • Select
  • All Files (*.*)
  •  from the drop down list.
  • Select the location that you save the text file to. 
  • For this example, click the 
  • Desktop
  •  button.
  • Select the file name:
  • RU_Rev/Exp_Report.txt
  •  from the desktop.
  • Click the 
  • Open
  •  button.
  • Select
  • Fixed width
  • as the
  • Original data type
  • .
  • For this example leave the data preview with the break lines as the default.
  • Click the 
  • Next >

  • Note:
  • The default break lines can be moved, deleted or new lines can be created as needed by clicking on them or dragging them.
  • Click the 
  • Finish
  •  button.

  • - leave as is for this example.
  • Click the 
  • File
  •  menu.
  • The standard report opens in a browser window.
  • In the 
  • File name
  • field enter the name you would like the report to be saved as. For this example enter
  •  a valid value e.g.

  • RU_Rev/Exp_Report
  • ".
  • Note:
  • Leave the following fields as the default:
  • Save as type
  • : Text File (*.txt)
  • Encoding
  • : Western European (Windows)
  • The report is now saved in the location you chose, For this example we saved the report on the
  • Desktop
  • so we will now navigate to Excel to find the file and complete the export.
  • Click the 
  • Microsoft Office Excel 2007
  •  from the programs list.
  • Microsoft Excel will open a new workbook.
  • Modify the report in excel by expanding the columns and moving the figures around as needed.
